The week's main objective: Present a collaborative, visual informative project and present it to an audience. Engage in independent reading at the 12th-grade level.
Think. Pair. Share: On a piece of paper, make a T-Chart with Bigger on one side and Bessie on the other. Note their discussion and what you learn about their relationship paying particular attention of the control Bigger has over Bessie.
Turn to a partner and share what you have.
Then we will examine as a class.

Think back to all the research you did previously on the Communist Party. Make two lists on a paper, one titled "Fact" and the other "Fiction." List the points Britten makes in his questioning of Peggy and Bigger and determine which are based on fact about the party and which are based on assumptions or bias.
