Homecoming update:

• • Court - don't forget to fill out questionnaire!

  • Winning class gets $300! (up from $100 last year - this doesn't include the $100 reimbursement for float expenses)

• Jack Pride Competitions - every other Friday starting after Homecoming Week.

• ASB meetings Thursdays @ lunch - 2 representatives should come from each class/club.

• YEARBOOK COVER COMPETITION! Deadline is Oct. 7. Digital art or hand-drawings are OK - must be at least 8.5 x 11 inches, portrait design. This year's yearbook theme is Together Through It All. Winner receives $50 and a free yearbook.

• FFA Chapter meeting Tuesday, September 20th during 7th period in Mr. Rourke's classroom.

• Letterman Jackets - We have letterman jackets now available! Go here to purchase.

• Homecoming - The 2022-23 Homecoming Theme is.... Grill the Dogs!

AP Literature

Make sure you go to the AP Lit tab and use the code to access Collegeboard and begin your videos and questions.

• Videos and checkpoint questions are due Sept. 26

• Progress check window will open Sept. 27 and close Oct. 11

• Quarter 1 Project is due Oct 11

The week's main objective: To learn and apply best practices to creating a slideshow; to read and analyze an infamous satire piece called "A Modest Proposal."
